You can permanently delete your Entire account from entire.io at any time. This page covers what gets deleted, the 7-day cooldown, how to cancel, and what happens when deletion completes. This is how you exercise your right to erasure (the “right to be forgotten”) under the GDPR and similar laws. For what data we hold and how long we keep it, see the Privacy Policy.

Before you start

When you open the delete dialog, Entire shows you a preview of exactly what will happen to your account. Review it before you confirm.
  • Permanently deleted — your Entire account, your profile data, and the repositories connected to your personal account.
  • Access you’ll lose — your memberships in other organizations and any roles granted to you. You are removed from those organizations; the organizations themselves and their repositories are not deleted.
Your Git repositories are not touched. Checkpoint data lives on the entire/checkpoints/v1 branch in your own repository, so deleting your Entire account does not erase it — delete that branch yourself if you want the transcripts gone. See Security & Privacy.
You can’t delete your account while you own an organization. Transfer ownership or delete each organization you own first, then delete your account. The dialog lists the organizations you still own.

Delete your account

Open account settings

Sign in to entire.io, open your Account settings, and find the Danger zone.

Start the deletion

Click Delete account. Entire loads a preview of what will be deleted and which access you’ll lose.

Confirm

Type your GitHub username to confirm, then click Delete my account. If you still own an organization, resolve the blockers listed in the dialog first.

You're signed out

Your account is scheduled for deletion and you’re signed out everywhere immediately. A 7-day cooldown begins.

7-day cooldown

Deletion is not immediate. Your account enters a 7-day cooldown during which nothing is erased yet and you can still change your mind. While the cooldown is running:
  • You’re signed out, and your access tokens stop working — you can’t push new work or use the API.
  • You can sign back in to cancel. Signing in does not cancel the deletion on its own — you have to click Cancel deletion.

Sign back in

Return to entire.io and sign in. You’ll see a banner: “Your account is scheduled for deletion on [date].”

Cancel

Click Cancel deletion. Your account is no longer scheduled for deletion and full access is restored right away.
Once the 7-day cooldown ends, deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Erased data cannot be recovered.

What happens when deletion completes

When the cooldown ends, Entire permanently erases your account and personal data across every region where we store it. We also ask the third-party services we use — such as our analytics and CRM providers — to erase your personal data. Those providers are listed on our Subprocessors page.

What we keep after deletion

We keep a small amount of information after deletion where the law requires it — tax, accounting, and security records. The Privacy Policy lists what and for how long. Repository content follows the repository, not your account: it is retained for as long as the repository exists on our services and is deleted when the repository (or the relevant history) is deleted.
