# cluster

> Show the Entire clusters you can place projects and repositories on.

Show the Entire clusters you can place projects and repos on.

A cluster is one regional EntireDB deployment. Clusters are where [repositories](/cli-reference/repo) are provisioned and where [mirror placements](/guides/repositories/mirrors) live, and their public hosts are what `--cluster` accepts elsewhere in the CLI.

## cluster list

List the clusters Entire has available.

The table shows three columns, each a value another command takes: `REGION` is the jurisdiction slug [`entire org create --region`](/cli-reference/org) and [`entire project create --region`](/cli-reference/project) name, `CLUSTER` is the placement slug [`entire repo mirror list --cluster`](/cli-reference/repo#entire-repo-mirror-list) filters on, and `HOST` is what every targeting `--cluster` takes.

A `DEFAULT` column appears only when some cluster is not its region's default. It marks the default within each region, not one global default.

Pass the `HOST` value — such as `aws-us-east-2.entire.io`, not the region or slug — to [`entire repo mirror add --cluster`](/cli-reference/repo#entire-repo-mirror-add), [`entire repo clone --cluster`](/cli-reference/repo#entire-repo-clone), and [`entire repo remote add --cluster`](/cli-reference/repo#entire-repo-remote-add). [`entire auth status`](/cli-reference/auth#auth-status) shows your home jurisdiction.
